DM2000091918:GCP:POLITICS:PERSONALITY:25DEC1960 - Leaders Agree On All-In Conference - African leaders at the recent Unity Conference at Donalson Center, Orlando last weekend have agreed to an All-In Conferene of the African people early in the New Year. They stressed that there was complete Unanimity on all resolutions, despite agreement that those present should not try to eliminate their existing ideology differences. The most important resolution tabled at conference was Unity. This must be achieved for the attainment of three principles, racialism must be ended; a non-racial government formed and the work must be done by use of the non-violent methods. Conference immediately elected a continuation committe to ensure that the principles adopted in the resolutions would be hammered into practical shape. Government should be asked to hold a National Convention on the question of democratic rights for all before the declaration of a republic day on May 31 next year.
