A young boy runs past along the beachfront in Mogadishu, Somalia. 20 years of civil war had not only destroyed the people of Somalia, it had destroyed the entire infrastructure network of the capital, Mogadishu too. It also created a mass of pollution problems as witnessed on the local beach in the capital used as one of many dumping grounds for rubbish.
