Idasa and opposition politics

1 May 1988

Generally stated, “Opposition politics [in South Africa] is being shaped by the dynamics of right-wing reaction and left-wing revolt and either is a consequence of the dynamics of reform initiated by the State. In other words, the prospects for opposition politics have to be understood in terms of the Dynamics of Reaction-Reform-Revolt.”
