John Kennedy Marshall was an American anthropologist and acclaimed documentary filmmaker best known for his work in Namibia recording the lives of the Juǀʼhoansi (also called the !Kung Bushmen). This interview is part of a series of unedited interviews with South African (and some American) writers, journalists and activists made in the late ‘80s, 90s mostly on the subject of censorship and films.
