Ethiopia, the Bale Province. From the Melka Oda Camp, April 1979. Lisbeth Andreasen explains: "Now the house is built, with a plastic roof from Herlev, Denmark" (DCA). The camp is planned to accommodate 7000 men, moved by the government from the severely drought affected Wollo area of North Ethiopia - according to promises, to the 'more fertile Bale'. However, they arrived in very bad conditions and to 'nothing'!
