Šiauliai Aušros Museum

In 1923, on the initiative of Peliks Bugailiškis, the patriarch of Lithuanian museology. The established museum was named after the first Lithuanian newspaper, Aušros. Today, the "Aušros" museum is one of the largest and most active museums in Lithuania, which collects, protects, and popularizes the heritage of history, art, and technology, helping to know the past, understand the present, and create the future.
