This film presents one of the most powerful ministers in Kenyatta's first cabinet, Mbiyu Koinange was the first Kenyan to obtain a Master's Degree (from the London School of Economics) and was a key advisor to Kenyatta in the 1963 election. He was appointed Minister of State for Pan-African Affairs and then Education in the first cabinet.
