President Mbeki's denialist position on HIV/AIDS and his dependence on the quack opinions of his panel of his AIDS advisers baffled medical experts and confused the public. The duck quacking away inanely became a useful adjunct in many of my cartoons on this subject. Description provided by Tony Grogan.
