This paper illustrates at the outset various forms of segregation in the world. The fact that the basic principle upon which the British Empire is founded is that of "divide and rule" and plainly named as segregation. And in South Africa, the people have been divided into three groups and look upon themselves as African oppressed; Indian oppressed or Coloured oppressed and within these groups their plights and struggles are highlighted. Segregation exists in all walks of life, be it work or leisure; and in conclusion, how the struggle for liberation should continue against all odds and forms of segregation.
