At the outset, APDUSA mentions how it warned its people of the dangers of accepting the formation of police reserves and that this warning was warmly received and the formation was thus unsuccessful. And now, the government, in particular, Maree, had secretly arranged a conference and meeting with selected people from the National Indian Council,at which members were elected or rather chosen by Maree and not the people, to which APDUSA rejects.
