Letter from Secretary of State, Liberia, to W. E. B. Du Bois

1933

From L. A. Grimes, Secretary of State. Expresses gratitude for support. Concerns keeping American supporters of Liberia informed of Liberia's work with League of Nations and ways to show bonds "between the Liberians and their brethren in the U.S.A." are strong. Raises suggestion that Du Bois come to Geneva as delegate, acknowledges the many factors necessary to work out to make that possible.
