Relaying recent correspondence with Dorothy Detzer of the Women's International League and its involvement in the Liberian situation; regarding dealings with Lord Cecil, the British Foreign Office, and the U.S. Dept. of State; encouraging him to write to Grimes and to Liberia; and suggesting he send his recommendations for American minister to Liberia to the State Dept., "saying any one of these men would be acceptable to the Negroes of America."
