Informing her of recent accomplishments and goings on including: writing a feature story for "Drum Magazine", visiting William Gardner Smith, acting as the "special correspondent" for PRAVDA, editing upcoming issues of "Freedomways", travelling with President Kwame Nkrumah to Uganda, and Addis Ababa; urging that "it is absolutely obligatory that we warn Europe...that unless the Verwoerd regime is brought down that third world war they so much dread is going to START IN SOUTH AFRICA" and urging that the rest of the world impose an economic boycott on South Africa; updating her on W. E. B. Du Bois's health.
