The back of the postcard contains a handwritten message in French and also contains information about the mission agency: "Les Soeurs de la Charité à Elisabethville- Ecole officielle pour jeunes filles europeennes." There is also a caption: "No 19 - Pique-Nique" ("Picnic.") There is also information about the publisher: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
