Black and white photograph showing a group of students and staff at the Ovim Girls' School, run by the Methodist Missionary Society in southeast Nigeria. Students wear their own clothes rather than a uniform. Most teachers are Nigerian women, although two European missionaries can be seen in the photograph. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Hospital, also run by the Methodist Missionary Society.
