Black and white photograph featuring a four day old baby, born at the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital run by the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society (later known as the Methodist Missionary Society.) The baby lies on a sheet or blanket, and his umbilical cord can still be seen. The caption to the image reads: "4 days old. Born at Ama Achara Hospital 1932." This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara hospital from 1921 to 1944.
