"2 - Mission Galla - Orphelinat de Dire-Daoua". Two Catholic missionary sisters stand with a score of white-clad orphans, the children gathered in rows for the photograph. Behind them, thick foliage can be seen. The back of the postcard has no handwriting on it. Printed at the edge of the correspondence section is "Congregation des Soeurs Franciscaines de Calais Maison Mere : Rue Eustache de-S. Pierre, Calais (P.-de.C)" "Phototypie, 49, rue de Canteleu, Lille".
