Indigenous nun making lace outdoors, Congo, ca.1920-1940

An indigenous nun sits outdoors with a small worktable before her. Spools of thread rest on the table, and some partially-completed lace drapes down. The back of the postcard has no handwriting. Printed in the edges of the correspondence section is "65 - Zwarte Zuster aan 't spellewerken (Opper-Congo) Missien der Witte Paters."
