Black and white photograph showing a group of women at the hospital at Ama Achara run by the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society. The women have been photographed ready for a traditional or religious festival. The women and girls wear smock dresses, and most wear head-scarves (known as "gele.") This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital.
