The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and includes information about the mission agency and caption: "Mission des Peres Lazaristes et des Filles de la Charite a Bikoro- Le bateau de la Mission" ("The mission boat") "Missie der Paters Lazaristen en Dochters der Liefde te Bikoro- Met de Missie boot op reis" There is also information about the publisher: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
