They are all wearing white dresses and white head coverings. The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the mission agency: "Les Franciscaines Missionnaires de Marie- Congregation essentiellement missionnaire fondee en 1877.- Leur genre de vie est tout empreint de l'ideal evangelique : elles exercent un intense apostolat par des oeuvres nombreusus et tres diverses: enseignement, hopitaux, oeuvres sociales, etc. - Elles cherchent la benediction de leur activite dans l'adoration quotidienne du Tres Saint Sacrement expose. L'Institut compte 9.200 membres en 405 maisons repandues dans le monde entier. Leurs Sept Martyres, massacrees en Chine en 1900 furent beatifiees en 1946." There is also a caption: "Boma (Congo)- Ecole familiale: le jardinage." ("School family: the garden.") There is also information about the printer: "Maison Provinciale: 268, Av. de Tervueren, Bruxelles."
