The roads in Kaputa District were being totally overhauled and improved by a team of Canadian road-builders at the time this photo was taken. Transport into the district would be immensely improved, as would the ability for fisherman to sell their catches from Lake Mweru Wantipa to traders arriving with large trucks. 6842-09 Wedding in Kaputa 1983 + Wm Musonda
