Workers at the Lubumbashi Hospital gather in the refectory for a meal. The men are sitting at tables and a missionary sister can be seen standing in the distance. The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the Catholic mission agency: "Les Soeurs de la Charité de Gand à Elisabethville." There is also the caption: "Oeuvres pour Indigènes. Hôpital Prince Léopold. Le dîner au réfectoire." ("Dinner in the refectory") There is also information about the publisher: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
