The back of the postcard is blank and includes: "Eigendom van Scheut (Kongo) Propriete de Scheut." There is also information about the mission agency on the back of the postcard: "Missie van Kangu- Mission de Kangu" The back of the postcard also contains the caption: "Eene waabare rivier. - Une riviere gueable" "Kongo (Mayombe)"
