Black and white photograph showing Miss Stephens and Emily Godfrey, staff of the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society. They are performing in a Christmas party for children in Umudike, Abia state, Nigeria, in 1931. Godfrey is dressed as a nurse of a baby in a pram, played by Miss Stephen. A sign on the side of the pram reads: "DRAGE. Pay when you please. 3/10 weekly." The caption next to this image reads: Miss Stephens (child) E.G nurse at Christmas party for children under 12. Umu Dike Christmas 1931." This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital run by the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society.
