The caption on the reverse of the side reads: "Ama Achara Hospital Staff with Govt. Doctor 2 Nursing Sister & Miss Brazier in charge of Evangelistic work." The government doctor may be the man wearing glasses in the centre of the image, the nursing sister sits on the wicker chair to the right, Emily Godfrey sits to the left of the doctor, and Miss Brazier sits on the floor at the front of the group. This image comes from a photograph collection kept by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Methodist Hospital at Ama Achara from 1921 to 1944.
