Black and white lantern slide showing four individuals in a canoe, moving across a large body of water. Two men stand at the front of the canoe and paddle with long oars whilst two others carry oars to the rear of the vessel. The figure sitting at the very rear of the canoe is quite small, and may be a child. This slide comes from a set on the activities of the King’s African Rifles battalions in Nyasaland. It was originally held by the Church of Scotland, and generated by J.W MacKay.
