Letter from W. E. B. Du Bois to George Padmore

1957

Upon Shirley's insistence, attempting to reach him in Ghana before he departs the Gold Coast; hoping he and Dorothy have had a chance to relax, "and be careful of that climate"; regretting that they could not be in attendance themselves; hoping he will emphasize "the necessity of [Nkrumah's] getting closer to Nasser and the Sudanese"; and briefly relaying thoughts on other political issues facing the African continent.
