"Br. Gust. Reichel in Hermannskraal bei Jurris u. Familie." ("Br[other] Gust[av] Reichel in Hermanskraal visiting Jurries a[nd] family."). The picture shows three men, two women and a baby of African origin and a man of European origin behind them. All but an elderly woman stand. The elderly woman is dressed in white cloths and sits. The man next to her wears a white shirt and dark pants. The others wear dark colored cloths. A young man in the center of the picture holds the baby in his arm. On the right, part of a house with thatched roof. Shadows of the group on its wall. On the left a tree. In the foreground a wooden fence. In the background a mountain. Gustav Theodor Reichel (1879-?) was a missionary in West Himalaya from 1908 to 1922 and then in South Africa West from 1923 to 1934.
