Un bebe baptise 'in articulo mortis' a Kpandu". An apparently living infant is swaddled in white, a fist pressed to its mouth. The back of the postcard has a few lines of handwriting. Printed at the edge of the correspondence section is "Phototypie Lescuyer, 16, r. Remparts-d'Ainay, Lyon".
