Several Taita villagers are depicted in the cleared open space between a half-dozen thatch-roofed huts. Several dogs stand or sit among them. The back of the postcard has no handwriting on it. Printed in the margin of the correspondence section is "Missions des Peres du Saint-Esprit 30, Rue Lhomond, Paris (ve arr.)" "2 - Afrique Orientale Coin de village Taita."
