"Christian-David-Schule in Steenberg." ("Christian-David-School in Steenberg."). The photographer is facing the entrance and front side of the building. A small staircase leads to the door which is inside an attachment to the main building. On the wall are two plaques with inscriptions. On the right side of the school twelve windows. In the background mountains and trees. This picture was taken by Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?). He worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died.
