"Elim. Ein Eselswagen mit Reisig." ("Elim. A donkey carriage with brushwood."). The picture shows a four-wheeled carriage loaded with brushwood. In front of it ten donkeys in two rows. A couple of men, women and children stand next to the donkeys. Two men standing on the carriage. The people are probably of African, Euopean and Indian origin. Behind the carriage a house with a thatched roof and trees in front of it. On the left another house with a thatched roof. Imprinted on the image: "Elim. Süd-Afrika. West. No. 403." ("Elim.
