Walther Bourquin, born in 1879 in Nain (Labrador), worked as a missionary in South Africa East from 1908 until 1949. He married Martha Wüstemann in 1908 in Berlin. In 1908 he arrived in Silo. In 1913 he was stationed in Gosen and around 1924 he was in Tinana. In 1925 he became president of the mission province South Africa East. In 1937 he worked in Mvenyane and retired in 1949. He died in 1974 in Durban. Wilhelm Friedrich Karl Blohm, born in 1884 in Keffenbrinck (Germany), was a carpenter. In 1911 he married Marie Bürger. He started his missionary work in 1911 in Unyamwezi (East Africa). After being imprisoned by the Belgians from 1916 till 1917 he returned to Germany. From 1922 till 1945 he worked as a missionary in Baziya (South Africa). He died in Baziya in 1945.
