Shop and people, Genadendal, South Africa

"Der alte Winkel in Gnadenthal." ("The old shop in Genadendal."). The picture shows a building with a thatched roof and with a marquee above two of the tree entrances. A group of approximately 30 men, women and children of African and probably also Asian, European and mixed origin stand in front of it. Directly in front of the two entrance doors on the right side of the house two men, two women and a girl, all but one man of light skin color. In the foreground another woman of light skin color with a buggy and probably one or two dogs. On the left another two-storied building and a tree in front of it.
