“New T.B. ward. Hospital.” Exterior view of a small wooden building with ventilation lattice work around the upper walls. Built in 1928 the T.B. ward was one of three isolation wards, the others being for lepers and yaws patients. ❧ Image from the collection of Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) showing the early years of the Chogoria mission, established near Mt Kenya in 1922 and run by Dr Irvine, ministering to the Chuka and Mwimbi peoples.
