Frau Miss. Fritze inmitten ihrer Landwirtschaft ("Ms. missionary Fritze amidst her husbandry"). Photograph of Ms. Fritze with three African girls and two European children in front of fowls, pigs and Banana fruits. Georg Fritze (1889-1944), from Upper Silesia, served the Leipzig Mission as one of the first missionaries after the First World War in 1926. Initially he was stationed in Machame, later he worked in Masama and Marangu. In 1927 he took over the station in Mamba.
