A prickly pear, Enon, South Africa

"Feigenkaktus b.Enon." ("Prickly pear n[ear] Enon."). The picture shows a prickly pear. In front of it one man and three women of African origin. The women wear white dresses. The man tries to get the fruits down from the plant with a wooden stick. One of the women is collecting the fruits, another one eats something, probably one of the fruits. The women to the far left carries a bucket full of fruits on her head. Imprinted on the image: "No. 791." (Another number which is readable was crossed out with black color.). Photography faded.
