View of the church of the Société des missions évangéliques de Paris (Paris evangelical missionary society) in Ambohipotsy, Antananarivo. The Church of Ambohipotsy was built in 1863 by the architect William Pool, on the place where malagasy Christians were killed in the reign of Ranavalona I. It was inaugurated the 17th of November 1868, with the Queen Ranavalona II and her first minister.
