Missionare Reusch u. Blumer ("Missionaries Reusch and Blumer"). Photograph of the above mentioned, Blumer's children, other Europeans and Africans standing near a car. Richard Reusch (1891-1975), from Baratayevka in Russia, studied theology before joining the Leipzig Mission in 1920. In 1927 he worked in Marangu. Reusch returned to East Africa in 1939. There he was stationed in Iramba and Marangu. Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as a pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
