Jenny von Stebut (1899-1998), from Lithuania, joined the Leipzig Mission as a nurse in 1930. She worked in hospitals in Mamba and Machame from 1931 till the outbreak of the Second World War. From 1952 to 1962 she served again in Nkoaranga.
