"Pareleute (Nordp.) 1902" ("Pare people (North P[are]) 1902"). Group portrait of 11 Africans standing in front of trees and brushes. In the middle of the group stands a tall elderly man wearing a kanzu and a cap. His hands rest on a walking stick. To the right are five men and a child, to the left two youths and a young man. To his foot another child is sitting. All except the elderly man are wearing cloths that are draped around one shoulder. The photograph is hand-colored. -- Cf. picture no.
