"Amis malgaches, Tulear 1936" ("Malagasy friends, Toliara 1936"). The group portrait is taken at the "Barahouse". Edvin Fagereng was a missionary in Madagascar from 1922-1937 and Madagascar Inland 1940-1960. He married Louise 1907-1962, maiden name Roullot, in France on September 6, 1928.
