No original title. An African woman wearing a 'kanga' and a long white robe, three children dressed in long white robes and a dog in front of a rectangular mud house thatched with plant fiber. Leonhard Blumer (1878-1938), from Kida in Estonia, served the Leipzig Mission as pastor and teacher in Arusha from 1907 to 1930 (apart from home leave in 1912-1913 and 1924-1926).
