Gate of a compound and view of the mission station, Rungwe, Tanzania

"Eingangsthor zum Gehöft des Präses. Links eine Sisal-Pflanze and den Säulen Passionsblumen. Hinter der Frau mit Bambus-Milchgefäss auf dem Kopf die untere Station mit Vorsteher-Wohnung." ("Entrance gate of the compound of the head of the church assembly. On the left, a sisal plant passionflowers at the pillars. Two brick pillars with a bamboo cane lying across on their tops and passionflowers winding down from the left one function as an entrance gate. A woman, carrying a baby on her back and a vessel on her head, is standing at the gate through which tile-roofed houses are visible behind bushes and trees.
