"Frl. Lotte Fleck und Schwester Elisabeth Vierhub in Moshi." ("Miss Lotte Fleck and sister Elisabeth Vierhub in Moshi.") Group portrait of Lotte Fleck and Elisabeth Vierhub in front of a banana plantation. Charlotte Fleck (1897-1971), from Saxony, served the Leipzig Mission in East Africa from 1928 to 1935. She worked with Elisabeth Vierhub at a girls‘ school in Moshi. Elisabeth Vierhub (1873-1964), from former Prussia in Poland, served the Leipzig Mission as a nurse. From 1910 to 1912 she was in Moshi, afterwards in Machame. 1919 to 1925 she lived in Germany, then she went back to Machame. 1928 she assumed control over the girls‘ school in Moshi.
