"Eine schwarze Christen-Familie in Mamba." ("An African Christian family in Mamba."). Group portrait in front of the wall of the house. The parents are carrying the two small children. All are dressed in white European clothes. The picture was probably taken by Johannes Schanz (1876-1963). He worked as a missionary of the Leipzig Mission in Moshi and Mamba from 1901 to 1910.
