Rented church for indigenous congregation, Hillskraal, South Africa, ca.1936-1937

"Gemietete Kirche für Kaffer-Gemeine Hillskraal." ("Rented church for indigenous congregation Hillskraal."). The church is built with corrugated iron. This view shows the back with three windows. The window in the middle is broken. On the right a small bell-tower. Two men and one woman are standing around it. Several black dots on the picture. -- This picture was taken by Willibald Paul Schaberg (1900-?). He worked as a missionary in South Africa West, mostly in Elim. He married Elfriede Henriette Johanna Nigrin (born 1898) in Herrnhut near Dresden, Germany, in 1929. It is not known when and where he stopped working and died.
