Gudrun Petra Larsen, b. 1921. Teacher training, 1944-47. Mission course at Carey Hall, England, 1949. Theological course in Denmark (4 months), 1972-73. Teacher in Rønne, 1947-49. Sent by DMS (in cooperation with the Swedish Church Mission) to Tanganyika/Tanzania, 1950-86. Working areas: Teacher at Kashasha Girl's Boarding School, 1950-58. Women's ministry and youth/children work in Bukoba, 1960-64. Secretary of the women's ministry in Bukoba and Karagwe, 1965-68. District missionary/parish worker in Lukajange, 1969-74. Teaching at the Ntoma Craft School, Bukoba,1974-86. After 36 years of mission work in Africa, Gudrun Larsen started her retirement life in Fredericia. She died in 2004. (Photo from 1981).
