Rev James Nicoll Ogilvie (1860-1926) is an honoured guest at Murigo’s village school. He was the convener of the Foreign Mission Committee and an ex-Moderator of the General Assembly in 1920 he toured the Church of Scotland missions in British East Africa. ❧ This image is from an album chronicling the time that Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) spent at Tumutumu (1919-1921) and some of the early years at Chogoria.
